2021 AILA National Awards

OVGA congratulates the winners and nominees for the AILA National Landscape Architecture Awards for 2021.

OVGA congratulates the awarded projects in the 2021 National Landscape Architecture Awards. OVGA provided ongoing advice as well as design review in two of the projects.   

The National Award for Excellence for Research, Policy and Communication was awarded to the Level Crossing Removal Project for the LXRP Indigenous Design Guidelines.

Station Street Mall Frankston by Site Office and the City of Frankston received the National Award for a Civic Landscape for the refurbishment of Frankston’s Station Street Mall. The project, reviewed by the Victorian Design Review Panel in March 2018. The Jury noted the non-prescriptive civic spaces, with wonderfully designed decking and lighting.
