The State Government released the review of Federation Square on 22 August 2020.

The OVGA were pleased to lead Stream One of the review, tasked to consider the public purpose and built form of the place.  Our work included in-depth consultation with community, tenants and stakeholders to establish a long-term vision focussed on the user experience and site-wide curation.

In looking at the built form, a panel of experts helped guide our research and contributed to a set of design principles and strategies that both acknowledge the heritage status of the place and inform future enhancement.

Thank you to the Stream One Advisory Panel for their invaluable contribution and support. Thanks must also go to our engaged community, inventive stakeholders and Tim Eddy (Stream Two Lead) for their collaboration.
