Last month, the Minister for Planning, Hon. Sonya Kilkenny MP, launched Future Homes. The event showcased exemplar apartment designs, developed in collaboration with competition-winning architects. Life-sized projections allowed attendees to walk through and experience the designs firsthand.
Future Homes designs promote high-amenity, low-scale apartment living, and are now available to purchase for use in Maribyrnong City Council.
Designs focus on providing for:
- good natural light
- effective natural ventilation
- excellent environmental performance
- family living and ageing in place.
Future Homes is a joint project between the OVGA and the Department of Transport and Planning.
