Karen established MAA after 10 years as a director at Neometro Architects.

Karen is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects.

She is actively involved in promoting the importance of architecture and design.

Sustainability is a core philosophy of her practice with an emphasis on the highest level of passive solar design. Karen believes there is an opportunity in every project to deliver joy and surprise. By emphasising and celebrating the environment, occupant and experience.

She is currently a member of The Melbourne University Architecture Advisory Board.

Karen is a former member of the Victorian Chapter Council of the Australian Institute of Architects.

Karen places a strong emphasis on the critical role of design. She is committed to the potential for architecture to act as a positive change, through the design of space and spatial experience.
