Louise Wright

Louise's particular area of interest is the relationship of design to the natural environment.

Louise is a practicing architect and a director of Baracco+Wright Architects. She has a PhD in Architecture and is a registered architect in Victoria. Louise received an Australian Research Council Postgraduate Award (industry) scholarship.

She has a unique capacity to consider design from many aspects due to her:

  • research

Louise teaches architectural design – Undergraduate and Masters program in Architecture and Landscape Architecture at:

  • RMIT University since 2000
  • Monash University since 2011

Louise was appointed creative director, with Mauro Baracco in collaboration with Linda Tegg, of the Australian Pavilion at the 16th International Venice Biennale di Architettura 2018.

In 2012 she won the Australian Architectural Services Award for client services.
