Mark Bol is a versatile architect and urban designer. He has 20 years of public and private sector experience. Mark has worked internationally on a range of projects in Norway and Switzerland.

He has also worked locally with several of Melbourne's most highly regarded large practices. His advisory and advocacy work at the Office of the Victorian Government Architect focuses on:

  • precincts
  • housing
  • transport
  • culture and creative industries.

He is a strong advocate for integrated transport and precinct design. He committed to long-term involvement with two of Victoria's biggest city-shaping projects:

  • Melbourne Metro Tunnels and Stations.
  • Suburban Rail Loop.

Mark's qualifications are:

  • Bachelor of Planning and Design (University of Melbourne).
  • Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) (University of Melbourne).

Mark is passionate about the ability for high-quality design to positively shape the city for everyone, in a sustainable and climate-positive way.
