Phil has over Forty seven years as a Structural Engineer, predominantly in Melbourne. Leader of the multidisciplinary practice Irwinconsult, now a part of WSP, from the early 2000’s.

Still actively designing and consulting with the main role as a director and engineering lead of Structex Australia, a boutique structural engineering practice based in Melbourne and Darwin.

Phil still loves design and working with Architects and Contractors, particularly if there is a new problem involved or something new to learn.
