Simon established Global South in 2016 – an urban design practice based on research, applied knowledge and strategic collaboration.

Simon is also CEO and founder of Liveable. This is an new technology start-up supporting liveable, affordable and sustainable housing choices. They recently completed the Stockland Accelerator, through BlueChilli, Australia’s largest tech incubator.

Educated at the University of Melbourne, Simon gained a Masters in urban design at Bartlett School, University College London. He gained specialised training and exposure to the range of historic and contemporary urban conditions of Europe. Simon completed the Executive Masters in Cities at the London School of Economics. A transformative programme for global urban leaders in the public, private and civic sectors who want to rethink the way their organisations are delivering large scale change in cities. He is a registered architect in Victoria.
